Built from everyday commercial negotiations.
BusyFella was created by young buyers in the pharmaceutical sector, where commercial decisions move fast and the same calculations come up repeatedly throughout the day.
A supplier may communicate a list price change, propose a new purchase offer, revise discounts or add free goods. At the same time, a selling offer may need to be evaluated against those purchase conditions.
In list-price driven markets or sectors where public prices are relevant, looking only at the purchase side is not enough. The value of a deal comes from seeing the full deal: purchase conditions, selling conditions, list prices, discounts, free goods, Purchase Cost, Selling Price, Unit Profit, Gross Margin and Markup.
This is especially important when a commercial offer must be evaluated quickly: during an in-person meeting, a phone call, a video call, or while reviewing an offer with a colleague or customer. The question is not simply “what discount am I receiving?” but whether the complete deal is commercially sound.
Around four years ago, the first version was created as a simple Excel file for daily use. It helped make recurring calculations faster, clearer and more reliable, reducing manual work and the risk of errors.
Over time, the file was improved, expanded and shared with colleagues. What began as a practical internal tool gradually became a more complete way to assess offers, list price changes, discounts, free goods and commercial conditions.
BusyFella is the evolution of that daily working tool.
It supports professionals on both the purchasing and selling side: helping them assess supplier offers, understand the impact of list price changes, evaluate selling proposals against real purchase conditions, and make informed decisions before accepting, quoting or closing a deal.
BusyFella is continuously evolving, with new functions being developed to support more complex commercial decisions.
